Weber Brothers at Garden Gallery!

I, for one was not sure we could get these guys here. They are a five piece band now and my gallery space is pretty small! As the guys walked in I heard them say, one by one, “intimate”, “cozy”, “grimace”. This is a band that likes to move and entertain and we had them packed in, shoulder to shoulder, wall to wall.

After they jammed out Paperback Writer for their sound check my worries were put to rest. These guys are professionals, and as Ryan told me later, they’ve played tighter corners.

This was the most rocking show to date. It was loud and energetic. By the end of the night our guests (led by Heather and the ex-Rons) had the chairs cleared out to make room to dance.

Have to thank Deborah Aitken and Ness Creek Music Festival for organizing and fronting the cash for this one. Wouldn’t have happened without them.

What will stick with me most, besides the music, were the excited guests after the show. We had 25-50 year olds approaching us and demanding more shows. To quote one guest: “ We need more of these! So we don’t lose our fucking minds living here!”

One to remember, thank you Webers and all who attended. Those who couldn’t, we’ll see you at the next one.
